Checkpoints were/are in the plan just didn't quite make it into production. Hopefully you still made it to the ending. We appreciate your playing it!

I know exactly what you're talking about and realized it right before the deadline and with the way I did the layers, wasn't able to fix in time. We will probably make a new 1st level and use this as our new sandbox level since there are a lot of areas that I wasn't happy with, but you'll have that. Lots to learn in 5 weeks for first timers. 馃榿

Yea, i dropped those in before I had that area open for play and honestly forgot to remove them since they don't have a purpose yet. Eventually will have animation and contents, apologies on that. Lol

Thanks so much for playing and the feedback! The plan was to have checkpoints in there to help with that and to clean up the level more, but just genuinely ran out of time. First time jammers so lots to learn. Lol

Hoping to continue with it and really polish it up over the rest of this year and see how far we can take it. 

Thank you for the feedback. It's a bit rough but we are getting there. The Esc/Shift functions are for debugging only and won't be in the final game. Plan to have an actual Start/Pause menu to give an option for quitting and things. 

Thanks for the feedback! To give you a bit more insight, the abilities will be a mix of situational need or player preference to overcome various obstacles in the levels. We were still feeling things out (and still are) when we published the concept. As far as plan to make it, we have a basic outline and are using Godot but not sure what else to include in that regard. This is our first Jam so we are still finding our way. :D
